John Dougherty, DMD was born and raised in the Alameda district of NE Portland. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School located in Portland, OR and Gonzaga University located in Spokane, WA, where he played basketball for the Bulldogs. Dr. Dougherty completed his graduate degree at Oregon Dental School (now OHSU).

Dr. Dougherty's father (William) and son (Scott) are also dentists. With over forty years of experience, Dr. Dougherty has seen and done it all in the dental world. Outside of the office John is an avid card player, sports fan, and expert on nearly every subject imaginable.
